Diesel Exhaust Fluid Storage and Package Sizes in Miami

Plan ISO 22241 DEF storage and purchasing across gallon cases, 2.5-gallon boxes, pails, drums, 330-gallon totes and bulk supply.

Diesel exhaust fluid

Start with the quality requirement

Diesel exhaust fluid is AUS 32, an aqueous urea solution used by selective catalytic reduction systems. The current Ultra1Plus PDS describes a mixture of 32.5% high-purity synthetic urea and 67.5% deionized water and states conformance to ISO 22241-1. Keep DEF in dedicated equipment so fuel, lubricant, tap water and dirt do not compromise the fluid.

Size the package around real consumption

The current Ultra1Plus PDS lists 1-gallon containers in boxes of six, 2.5-gallon box-in presentations, 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums, 330-gallon totes and bulk supply. Smaller packages support lower-volume or mobile service. Drums, totes and bulk require suitable receiving, clean dedicated dispensing and enough turnover to protect inventory quality.

Florida heat makes storage planning important

The Ultra1Plus PDS lists storage between 12 F and 86 F for optimum shelf life of up to two years. A South Florida storage area can exceed that range, so buyers should evaluate shade, enclosure temperature, inventory age and delivery frequency. Confirm the date code and current manufacturer guidance for the product received.

Provide details that affect the quote

Include monthly DEF consumption, current package, number of diesel assets, storage and dispensing setup, delivery ZIP code, receiving access and target date. MAXILUB can confirm current availability and a package plan for qualified Miami-Dade and South Florida business buyers. On-site tank or bulk arrangements require a separate operational review and are not implied by a web quote.
