Hydraulic oil

These references address performance, not viscosity
Parker Denison HF-0 and Eaton Vickers 35VQ25 are used in hydraulic-fluid performance evaluation and equipment guidance. They do not replace an ISO viscosity grade. A valid purchase requirement may need both a viscosity such as ISO VG 46 and a documented performance claim that matches the pump or equipment requirement.
Read the wording on the current PDS
Look for precise wording on the current product data sheet and confirm whether it describes a formal approval, a test result, a recommended use or a statement that the product meets a requirement. Those phrases are not automatically equivalent. Match the exact product name, viscosity grade and document revision to the item being quoted.
Do not infer coverage from the letters AW
AW identifies an anti-wear hydraulic-oil family, but the label alone does not prove performance against every pump test or OEM requirement. Two AW 46 products can use different base oils and additive systems and can carry different claims. The equipment manual and verified product documentation remain the controlling sources.
Build an approval-aware quote request
Send the pump or equipment model, required viscosity, exact specification wording, current fluid, reservoir volume and expected package size. Ask MAXILUB for the current PDS for the exact proposed product. If the requirement is safety-critical, warranty-sensitive or unclear, obtain confirmation from the equipment manufacturer before changing fluids.
How to evaluate hydraulic-fluid claims
| Buyer sees | What it can indicate | What still needs confirmation |
|---|---|---|
| ISO VG 32, 46, 68 or 100 | Viscosity classification at 40 C | Operating range, pump design and performance requirements |
| Parker Denison HF-0 | A Parker Denison hydraulic-fluid performance reference | Exact claim wording, product grade and current fluid rating |
| Eaton Vickers 35VQ25 | A vane-pump test reference used in Eaton fluid guidance | Exact test or specification claim and equipment requirement |
| AW hydraulic oil | An anti-wear product family description | OEM requirements, formulation, compatibility and verified PDS |
Do not describe a product as approved unless the current manufacturer documentation uses that exact claim for that exact product.
